English has seen to be the international language. Knowing English in both spoken and written brings a huge benefit because it helps in communicating the people from the other side of the world. Besides that, English is also the language of media and internet where studies showed that 55.5% are using English in most of the website content. It also gives the opportunity to aids one’s career because language is part of a person’s status which will automatically ‘upgrade’ when one knows how to converse in English.
Most of the Malaysians are able to converse very well in English and there are also who do not know how to speak a proper English language. There are many reasons for those who are not able to speak and write in English, one of them could be the fear of making mistakes. However, there are times where mistakes need to have in order to be perfect. In this case, it applies to learn the English Language because it needs a lot of practice to improve the competency and confidence in using the language.
