SH Retail Academy (SHRA)
SH Retail Academy (SHRA) is a retail training provider founded and inspired by the intention of Mr Lim Kim Heng, Executive Chairman of Senheng New Retail Berhad, to support Malaysian retail industry to grow by increasing productivity through digitalisation and upskilling
Many Malaysian SMEs today are facing business challenges due to reducing footfall, e-commerce competition, and lack of talents. SHRA combines time-proven application successes from Senheng with the latest knowledge and concepts to bring effective retail training programs for Malaysian SMEs, especially in the retail industry. As the leading consumer electronics retailer in Malaysia established since 1989, Senheng has innovated through many transformations and pioneered many initiatives such as Digital Transformation and Seamless, vital elements to the business concept of New Retail.
Starting from the formulation of SHRA training programs outlines, the program content, and the delivery methods; each process is derived using retail thought process and retail needs. The programs that SHRA offers are specifically catered for the Malaysian retail sector addressing various elements from retail management such as inventory, manpower, sales, supply chain, succession and leadership, crisis and risk, presentation, digitalisation to New Retail, and more. SHRA also specialises in customising programs according to the clients’ needs and technical requirements.
All of SHRA retail training programs are HRDF registered and claimable.

LIM KIM HENG
Director
As founder and director of Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd, KH Lim is the key driving force behind the phenomenal growth and success of the organisation. Through progressive, forward thinking, innovative touches and ability to recognise & respond to key business trends, the prudent and watchful leadership of KH Lim has solidified Senheng’s position as one of the largest consumer electronics retail chain stores in Malaysia.
LIM YAU YOUNG (YY)
Advisor
YY obtained his Bachelor of International Business degree from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) in 2009, and a Master of Business in Marketing from the University of Technology in Sydney in 2011. He also obtained an executive degree in Business Analytics & Big Data from the Harvard Business School in 2016. In 2019, he was recognised as a certified HRDF trainer.
CASSANDRA CHAN YI RONG
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Training Officer
Cassandra has multidisciplinary skills from her training attended, namely Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (UK), Licensed NLP Trainer (USA), Dale Carnegie Certification (UK), Certificate in Designing Online Learning (UK) and a few others. Currently, she leads and mentors SHRA’s trainers. Her ability to work and collaborate with her team has brought about high quality training standards in SH Retail Academy.
